2017 Annual General Meeting

Pauktuutit Inuit Women of Canada will be holding its Annual General Meeting in Ottawa, Ontario, on March 1-2, 2017. The Board of Directors will be reporting on activities conducted during the 2015/16 fiscal year. The meeting is open to the public, and will be held at the Residence Inn by Marriott at 161 Laurier Avenue West.

In addition to regular business, elections will be held for the position of Regional Directors for the Kitikmeot, Kivalliq, South Baffin, Yellowknife, Nunatsiavut, one urban (Goose Bay, Labrador) and one youth (any location in Canada).

Any Inuk woman can nominate or be nominated for a position on the Pauktuutit Board of Directors. Nominators must be from the same region as the candidate. Nomination forms are available from local hamlet offices, on the Pauktuutit website at www.pauktuutit.ca, or by calling 1-800-667-0749. The deadline for nominations to be received at the Pauktuutit office is 5:00 PM (EST) Friday, February 24, 2017.
