Arrange an Interview

Thank you for your interest in talking about cannabis in your community. It is really more like a chat rather than an interview! We will ask you a few questions to guide the chat (see the Interview Guide below). We are trying to find out what 18-29 year olds and new and expecting parents know or do not know about cannabis so that Pauktuutit can create resources useful to you. Whatever you tell us is completely confidential, and will not be connected with your name or contact information. Please see the consent form below as it contains all of the details on how we will protect your privacy and ensure confidentiality. If you find it difficult to sign and email a consent form, we can receive your consent over the phone—if you decide to have an interview.

To be certain that you meet the criteria for an interview, please answer the following questions:

• Do you identify as Inuit?
• Are you 18-29 year or a new/expecting parent?
• Do you live in Nunavik, the Inuvialuit Settlement Region, Edmonton, Montreal or the Baffin Region of Nunavut?
• Are you willing to talk on the phone for 30 minutes, at a scheduled time that is convenient for you?

If you said “yes” to all of the questions, we would like to speak with you. We can arrange to have someone do the interview who speaks Inuktituut, English or French. If you complete an interview, we will send you a $50 VISA gift card to your mailing address. For a full list of pre-screening questions, please see the document below.
