Pauktuutit Inuit Women of Canada is pleased to confirm that Nancy Etok has assumed the role of President and CEO on an interim basis as part of an ongoing leadership transition. Nancy continues to support the organization and begin the search for Pauktuutit’s next permanent President and CEO.
The Board of Directors is currently chaired by Laisa Audlaluk-Watsko, who is also serving on an interim basis. Under her leadership, the Board remains committed to guiding Pauktuutit through this transition and ensuring stability and continuity.
“I am honoured to take on the role of Interim President and CEO and to work alongside Laisa and our dedicated team,” said Nancy Etok.
“Our priority is to ensure stability and progress while we seek a leader who shares Pauktuutit’s vision and commitment to Inuit women and families.”
Nancy Etok brings extensive experience in Inuit governance and advocacy, having worked on initiatives that strengthen community well-being and cultural preservation. Laisa Audlaluk-Watsko, a respected leader with years of experience in organizational governance and community engagement, provides strong guidance to the Board during this transition.
The Board and leadership team remain focused on finding a candidate who will work collaboratively to strengthen programs, partnerships, and advocacy efforts that empower Inuit women across Canada.
