Pauktuutit is the national non-profit organization representing all Inuit women in Canada. Its mandate is to foster a greater awareness of the needs of Inuit women, and to encourage their participation in community, regional and national concerns in relation to social, cultural and economic development.
Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant provides executive support and serves as the primary point of contact Pauktuutit and the Executive Director and COO. Provides a full range of support to the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) and additional support for directors to enable leadership of the organization, and staff engagement.
National MMIWG Secretariat Policy Analyst
The Policy Analyst is critical to the implementation of the core goals of the MMIWG Secretariat and creation of an Inuit Women’s network that will strengthen partnerships and build the capacity of the Inuit women sector utilizing a gender-based analysis plus (GBA+).
Knowledge Translation Coordinator
The Knowledge Translation Coordinator will play a crucial role in facilitating the effective creation, dissemination (sharing) and utilization (use) of Inuit-specific sexual health information and resources among Inuit youth and their service providers.
Regional Manager – Iqaluit Office
The Regional Manager of Pauktuutit’s Iqaluit office will enable Pauktuutit’s mandate to collaboratively and effectively advocate for Inuit women’s full, equitable participation in the community, regional and national life of Canada. This role oversees Pauktuutit’s operations in Iqaluit and is a representative of Pauktuutit’s operations in the community.
Project Coordinator – Iqaluit Office
This role will work together with the Regional Manager to represent Pauktuutit Inuit Women of Canada in fulfilling its mandate to collaboratively and effectively advocate for Inuit women’s full, equitable participation in the community, regional and national life of Canada.
Manager, Violence & Abuse Prevention, Justice (V&APJ) Policy Team
As Manager within the Policy and Research Team, you will work in close collaboration with the Director of Policy and Research, to lead both the day-to-day operations of the team within the Violence and Abuse Prevention portfolio and drive the initiatives to support the overall goals of the organization.
