This Request for Proposals (RFP) is to hire a consultant with subject matter expertise who will work closely with Pauktuutit to plan, coordinate, and manage various aspects of the two-day National Inuit Midwifery Forum. Knowledge of Indigenous midwifery services and health systems in Canada’s North are vital, in addition to a strong understanding of Inuit culture.
Pauktuutit Inuit Women of Canada is launching an Inuit-specific Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA+) Framework. This framework will ensure that new and existing policies, programs and services reflect the unique need and social experiences of Inuit women, girls and gender-diverse Inuit while respecting the distinct characteristics of Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (IQ) values, and principles. The framework can only be used in a meaningful way in collaboration with Pauktuutit.
